Who we are
Kurason pa Kòrsou (formerly Samenwerkende Fondsen Curaçao) has supported the Oranje Fonds, Kinderpostzegels and Kansfonds since 2008 in strengthening social organisations and initiatives on Curaçao.
We believe that social change happens when people, organisations and resources find each other. That is why we connect partners, share knowledge, strengthen organisations and invest in initiatives that contribute to a socially resilient society.
Where we used to play mainly an advisory role, since 2026 we have deliberately chosen a new course. With a new name and a sharper mission we are growing into a community foundation that encourages cooperation, creates opportunities and increases social impact.
Board
Kurason pa Kòrsou is governed by a board of six members. The board sets the strategic course, supervises the organisation and safeguards financial and organisational continuity
The board consists of:

The board members carry out their role from a supervisory and policy responsibility and are not involved in the day to day execution of the work.
Organisation
The organisation consists of a director and a project team. The director is responsible for the daily management of the team, for the cooperation with internal and external partners and for the further professionalisation of the organisation. The director also focuses on fundraising and on developing the strategic course of the organisation, with the needs and developments in the field as an important foundation.
The project team supports the organisation in carrying out projects, assesses the grant applications and handles the daily work. Several responsibilities are assigned within the project team:
Project adviser: responsible for the coordination and guidance of incoming grant applications, both micro and macro applications. The project adviser also supports the development, execution, monitoring and reporting of projects.
Office coordinator: responsible for supporting the basic administration and for the various administrative and organisational tasks that contribute to a sound execution of the activities and projects. Project leaders and coordinators: responsible for the coordination and execution of the various programmes and projects, among them CuraDoet, Kinderpostzegels and the Oranje Fonds.
The way these roles are filled in may develop further in the period ahead, in step with the further development and growth of the organisation.

Our impact
For more than 18 years Kurason pa Kòrsou has contributed to the funding, guidance and development of initiatives in the fields of poverty relief, youth development, family support, care for older people, education and social participation.
With financial support, capacity building and strategic guidance we have strengthened the social field for the long term. Every year around XCG 1,000,000 is invested in projects and organisations that contribute to social development.
Since our founding an estimated XCG 18,000,000 has been made available to initiatives that make the difference for people, families and
communities on Curaçao.
