Who can submit a grant application?
Foundations, associations, informal organisations and private individuals can submit an application under certain conditions. Which form of application fits depends on the kind of initiative, the contribution applied for and the total budget.
Can I submit an application as a private individual?
Yes, private individuals can submit an application in certain cases, for instance for a holiday plan for vulnerable groups. If you are in doubt, contact our project adviser to discuss the possibilities.
When can I submit an application?
Applications can be submitted all year round.
How do I know whether my project is eligible?
Your project must contribute to the wellbeing of people on Curaçao and fit our aims. The page Apply for a grant holds more information about the conditions and the themes.
What is the difference between a micro and a macro application?
A micro application is meant for smaller projects with a limited budget. For larger projects you submit a macro application. You find the conditions on the application page.
How long does the assessment of an application take?
A micro application is usually handled within one to two months. For a macro application you should count on a processing time of four to six months.
Can I discuss my project idea first?
Yes. We even advise you to contact our project adviser beforehand. That way we can think along with you and you increase the chance of a complete application.
Can I submit several applications per year?
Yes. Organisations can submit several applications during the year, as long as they meet the conditions.
